ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - ATLANTA, GA
 
Build the Atlanta Skyline! 
 
We are Kane Innovations, a 129-year-old architectural railing provider based in Erie, PA that installs balcony and amenity railings throughout the nation. We are looking to train a new Assistant Project Manager who resides near Atlanta, Georgia. If you have hands-on high-rise construction experience and have been certified OSHA 10 Safety, you will be a great candidate for this fast paced job. 
 
With training, you’ll work on Georgia's biggest multi-residential projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage our aluminum and glass railing projects in Atlanta from preconstruction through the final punch-list. Over time, we want you to be the face of Kane’s Sterling Dula Railing brand, offering our customers the means and methods to ensure their railing scope will be done right and on schedule. You will work out of your home office and your primary territory will be Atlanta, Georgia, although travel to other cities is a definite possibility as we grow. All candidates should possess a positive, team player attitude.
 
Responsibilities and Duties for Assistant Project Manager – Atlanta, GA:
Primary job responsibility will be to interact with our General Contractor customers, our Erie PA based factory and our subcontracted railing installation crews to ensure the work is done right, on time and profitably for all concerned. We are looking for someone who has typically been a foreman or crew leader who is looking to take the next step with a quality employer. 
 
We are ideally seeking a candidate with the following qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Ability to interact with customers to build a long term relationship. 
  • Ability to read architectural plans, contracts and bids and understand how profitable jobs can and should work. Knowledge of change orders is helpful.
  • Coordinate and supervise installation activities. Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. Maintain installation schedules. Identify and solve problems. Inspect installation and provide progress reports. Approve installer invoices. Schedule deliveries throughout the process.
  • Ensure a safe working environment including working towards being OSHA 30 Certified, a competent person, and complying with Kane’s and the customer’s specific onsite safety requirements. 
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
Preferred Experience:
5+ Years construction experience
2+ Years field supervision experience
English language proficiency. Bilingual (Spanish) is ideal.
