Coatings Are Electrostatically Applied To Prepared Surfaces - Our products are prepared for coating in a five-step bonderizing process. The parts are chemically cleaned and rinsed to remove surface contamination, then given a pre-treatment etching and phosphatizing bath for added corrosion resistance. This is followed by an additional rinse and a sealer coat. Upon completion of this procedure, the parts receive an electrostatically applied polyester powder coat to provide consistent coverage and assure surface durability. Hard, Tough, Mar-Resistant Finish - After the powder coating is applied, the parts are baked for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
